The +5 Homeowners Electric Protection Plan is offered by a partnership of quality electrical contractors and the electricans of The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.+5 Homeowners Electrical Protection Plan is an added benefit of substantial value to homeowners, builders and developers! This benefit can only be offered due to the high confidence in the quality of your home's construction. It is an extended maintenance agreement on materials and workmanship that services the wiring in an new home for an additional five years beyond the builder's one-year warranty. The IBEW and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) sponsor +5 because they have that confidence in their workmanship. When construction of the home is completed and at the time you close on your new home, a +5 Electrical Maintenance Agreement document will be prepared for you by +5. It will spell out all of the provisions of the Plan and it takes effect immediately on the completion of the one-year contractor's warranty. This means that you will have six years of total maintenance coverage. In the unlikely event that a problem should arise during the full five years of +5 coverage, we will have a +5 electrical contractor fix the problem at no expense to the homeowner, builder or developer. The +5 Homeowners Electrical Protection Plan says to the new homeowner, "This house was built by the finest, most highly skilled craftsmen in the business, using top quality materials and workmanship." |
